Another week another new CD Duplication Project! This week we’ve manufactured on to CD the debut by Leeds based trio Reiver. The 5 track EP (plus bonus track) is filled with memorable riffs and lyrics.

There’s no room for compromise – especially when you’re a power trio based in the industrial north of England. Reiver offer a guitar-driven commentary on the current state of the world, with the help of some catchy riffs and lyrics designed to make you think.

Their debut single “Mylingar” – a name inspired by Scandinavian folklore – sets the tone for their forthcoming EP “A Higher State Of Mind from A Lower Point Of View” – a journey through the challenges of navigating the tumultuous technological age; touching on love and death, despair and hope, and anger at the impending doom of climate change.

Having been a likened to bands occupying all corners of guitar music, Reiver fuse the anthemic sounds of the early 2000s with the intensity of modern rock to put an exciting spin on a familiar sound. A sound that has no room for compromise.
